What DI Is

Development International is a nonprofit that works to make global development more successful and sustainable for local communities by helping them take control of their own development initiatives.

DI Focus

Development International focuses on all areas of development, including women's empowerment, cultural enhancement and diversity, community sustainability, and social justice.

Each community determines for itself what constitutes development in its own context, as well as the terms on which that development transpires.

DI Principles

CPCs

Community Partnership Centers promote community empowerment by integrating all development assistance activities with community-determined social, cultural, health, and economic program priorities by bringing together local stakeholders in the public agency, civil society, commercial, and academic sectors to ensure community sustainability and resilience.
